Number One Solar Contractor in 2020.

Blattner Company, an industry-leading utility scale renewable energy construction company and the parent company of Blattner Energy, Inc. and D.H. Blattner & Sons, Inc., announced that it has achieved the number one ranking out of 407 companies in the annual Top Solar Contractors List by Solar Power World. The Blattner Family of Companies is honored to receive this top ranking within the industry. The full list of companies can be found here.

The Top Solar Contractors list is developed each year by Solar Power World to honor the work of solar installers big and small. Solar firms in the utility, commercial and residential markets are ranked by number of kilowatts (KW) installed in the previous year. Companies are grouped and listed by specific service (developers, electrical subcontractors, EPCs, installation subcontractors, rooftop installers), markets and states.

Blattner employs thousands of people who installed 1,069,110 KW of solar power in 2019. Since its founding, Blattner has installed 4,448,870 KW of solar across North America.

“Our work in solar has been robust and continues to be so in 2020,” said Nik Maeder, vice president of solar operations of Blattner. “We rely on the best employees in the business to safely build high quality projects and provide exceptional service along the way. Our top ranking is thanks to their remarkable skill and commitment to our customers and communities.”

"The Solar Power World team is so pleased to highlight more than 400 companies on the 2020 Top Solar Contractors list, especially during this unprecedented time," said Kelsey Misbrener, senior editor of Solar Power World. "All contractors featured on the 2020 list reported strong 2019 installation numbers and are continuing to stand tall this year."
